Originally built in the late 1950’s as a family cottage, Blue Oasis Lakefront Cottage remained in the same family for over 50 years.  In 2021, the property was purchased and went through a complete re-build which took almost 2 years to complete.  

In February of 2024, the cottage was purchased by Mitch Laufman and re-branded as Blue Oasis Lakefront Cottage.  Mitch has lived in Arden, Ontario for over 10 years and is an active part of the community.  He is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience from start to finish with the goal of sharing the natural beauty everything Big Clear Lake has to offer.

Mitch also has a vision to turn Blue Oasis Lakefront Cottage into an all-year round sustainable cottage rental that families, friends and couples can make memories.  Some of the future plans for Blue Oasis Lakefront Cottage include, solar panels for the roof, an EV charging station and a commitment to using bio-degradable products when possible.
